Burj al Arab

Burj Al Arab rises impressively from a man-made island, 230 meters offshore, not so far from the Jumeirah Beach. The drive from Dubai International takes around 30 minutes or 9 minutes flight to the helipad on the roof.

The Burj Al Arab is literally outstanding. A unique architectural masterpiece, it soars 321 metres. Its shape echoes the sails of the dhows it overlooks in the Arabian Gulf. Taller than the Eiffel tower and only just shaded by the Empire State Building, the Burj Al Arab has 202 duplex suites, all superbly appointed, including 42" plasma screen TV and multimedia centres. (You can even request your own butler!) There are also two very large Royal Suites, offering all facilities plus their own private cinema.
